That's Entertainment

I arrived in Manchester in late 1988 and fully intended to dive head first into the local music scene, however things thankfully didn't quite go to plan. In later years I always joked I got kidnapped by members of the emerging comedy/spoken word scene which was also taking off in a huge way almost parallel to the rise of Madchester. There wasn't many photographers around in Manchester in those days and the ones that were concentrated mainly on music, leaving me to the entertainers. It was a good move.
