Coastline

I've always enjoyed photographing along the coastline, a place where land and sea meet under vast expansive skies, giving an almost cinematic quality. There is also more of a connection to the natural world, an awareness of the seasons, whether the tide is in or out, so many variables along the coast. The quality of light does seem to be enhanced and to another level, the colours enriched and vivid tend to combine with dramatic skies, often leading to ideal conditions for taking photographs.
